Standing Silent Witness

ZCenter invites community members to join its staff and volunteers at 11 a.m., Friday, April 20 in front of ZCenter’s Skokie location (4232 Dempster St, Skokie). Participants will spend an hour wearing t-shirts bearing personal stories of sexual assault and abuse – stories that too often are invisible and unacknowledged. T-shirts may also include relevant statistics, facts, or artwork. By standing in solidarity with survivors, silent protesters bear witness to rape survivors’ unheard experiences.
